Koutsogiorgakis Winery : A traditional wirery of Evia

THE WINERY

Our winery is located in Evia’s island in Greece and it’s a family buisness. We caltivate our own vineyards (5 ha) that include mostly local and international varieties. We only vinificate our own grapes that’s why our production does not come over 30.000 bottles.

From the beggining our purpose was to make wines that would bring up to the surface the special characteristics of our terroir, the tradition and our faith to quality. The way we vinificate and the local varieties  we use, give to our products a unique character. For our white and rose wines we vinificate only the free run juice (that meens that we vinificate only the juice that comes from the gently breaking of the grapes without using extra presure). The red wines are aged in oak barrels. We already export the biggest part of our bottle production  all over the world (Germany, US, Canada, Belgim).
